After
the groundbreaking Young Citizens' Action Event in July 2008, two
panels of young people – for London and the UK – were formed to prepare
Action Agendas for the Prime Minister and Mayor of London using the
information gathered from the Young Citizens' Say Surveys. The Agendas
aim to:
- Inform the PM and Mayor of areas where young people need government support
- Inform the PM and Mayor of action young people could take to help with practical problems.
The
UK Panel presented their Action Agenda in December 2008 and the London
Panel presented their Agenda to the Mayor of London and Minister for London in
early February 2009.
